Great New Blogging Tool for Blogs and Bloggers
Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) April 15, 2008 -- Yougler launches a new blogger profile tool and plugin for bloggers. Using Yougler (http://www.yougler.com/index.php?src=prw), bloggers can quickly create a profile page about themselves and their blog. This profile includes a contact form where readers can forward email. Bloggers then simply embed the link to their profile page in their posts. Readers can click on the link to read background information on the blog or the author or to send the author an email. It's that simple.
To make it even easier, there is also a Yougler plugin (http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/yougler-blogger-profile-page) that works with WordPress blogs. By installing this plugin, a blogger's profile link is automatically appended to each post.
Many bloggers do not leave contact links with their posts. This is not because they don't want feedback but because they don't want spam. In order to get spam-free feedback from readers, bloggers must construct special, contact pages on their blogs using server-side programming scripts. Many bloggers would rather not spend the time, trouble, or expense of doing that. Says Yougler creator Pete Wingard, "Some bloggers give out their email address but substitute 'at' for '@' like john (at) mymaildomain.com. This inexpensive approach defeats spam bots but doesn't look very professional." It also requires readers to type the email address into a mail application.
Yougler profiles are a spam-free way to communicate on the Internet because the email address is hidden from spammers. And having a Yougler Profile Page is as effective and professional looking as building custom contact me pages but a whole lot less trouble.
Yougler also allows bloggers to create multiple profiles. Whether it is multiple authors on one blog or one writer with multiple blogs, Yougler allows users to tailor each profile specifically to each author and blog. Yougler can then forward all messages to as few as one email address.
Yougler is free. Yougler is also simple to setup and use. For bloggers there is no longer any reason not to give your readers a way to contact you.
Yougler is the creation of Pete Wingard. He can be reached at his Yougler Profile Page www.yougler.com/pete.
